It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to submit any Meat or Braai related innovation, product, concept or idea you have on offer.
Should you or yours have a product or item which you have made for someone, or have seen made by someone privately, and
consider it to be a nifty and cool Meat or Braai related idea, you are invited to share with us!

If you or yours are in a position to produce and supply custom-made innovative products to KarooBraai^©,
you are invited to make contact with us!

This could be an opportunity for someone or someone’s product, idea or concept to get a kickstart –
in the KarooBraai^© innovative stable of braai related product offerings!

Should you be a manufacturer wishing to offer your manufacturing services for products, please forward your

Terms and Conditions for Submissions:

1. No product or item, concept or idea must be available at any commercial outlet at the time of your submission.

2.  This offer to submit does not apply to, or replace any product already in the public domain, or any product already known to KarooBraai^©.

3.  Ownership of products, product designs, items, concepts or other designs to be submitted must
be vested in the person or entity answering this open invitation.
Should ownership not be vested in yourself, proof of permission granted to act upon
behalf of, or to submit any product, product designs, items, concepts or other designs need to be provided.

4.  The product or idea must be Meat or Braai related, but need not be patented.

5.  You must ideally be available or produce the product yourself if this is your own invention.

6.  Should you not be in a position to produce the product yourself, you must be willing to provide
permission and /or rights enabling KarooBraai^© to call for prototypes and possible subsequent
manufacture of the product.  You will have the opportunity to name the product and if your
label is fitting and innovative, KarooBraai^© may just use it and have your legacy live on.

7.  KarooBraai^© undertakes to safeguard and keep safe your idea (under the wraps) at
all times until agreement, if any, has been reached with you.
Should no agreement be reached, alternatively your product, concept or idea not found to
be the winning submission, all related material pertaining to what was yours, will be returned in good order and faith.

8.  Based upon this commitment on our part, only submissions forwarded to KarooBraai^© at
production@karoobraaishop.co.za will be entertained and considered.
No telephone discussions will be had regarding a venture unless submission has been made in
writing, providing sketches, perspective drawings, sectional drawings or similar for
perusal in preparation of any discussion to be held in person, telephonically, or by means of Zoom meetings.

9.  There exists no particular guideline regarding the social status or financial position of
anyone wishing to respond to this invitation.  The invitation is about products, concepts and ideas that
have not been marketed commercially, nor has it been in production by any company in South Africa.

10.  Should any agreement be reached between KarooBraai^© and any person or business with
regard to this invitation, KarooBraai^© will rely on the product, concept or ideas not
being made available to any additional commercial outlets in South Africa for a set period of time.

11.  Similarly, should any agreement be reached between KarooBraai^© and any person or business with
regard to this invitation, KarooBraai^© will not entertain the sharing of the product, idea or concepts accepted by
means of agreements with its owners, to be additionally marketed, manufactured or otherwise made available to
anyone other than KarooBraai^©.

12.  KarooBraai^© will not accept claims to liability, and or be liable under any circumstance,
for any loss or injustice incurred to any person, business entity or their assigns and successors,
as a result of unknowingly been enticed to entertain and consider, produce or manufacture,
market or make available to the public, stolen or otherwise illegally obtained products,
product designs, ideas and concepts submitted to it for consideration under this invitation.

13.  KarooBraai^© undertake to seize all operations pertaining to the product,
relating to such allegations coming to light, should it be reasonably proved that a particular
product, product design, idea and concept has been presented to it under false pretenses.

14.  More than one product or concept may be engaged in at any time and /or be selected for further consideration.
All selections to this effect are at the discretion of KarooBraai^©.

15.  While there are no incentives or rewards offered in lieu of submissions, it may be decided to offer a consideration to a
successful submission of innovative products, concepts or ideas with a welcoming gift as a token to say thank you.
Such potential determination will be done at the sole discretion of KarooBraai^©.

16.  By responding to this invitation and submitting innovative products, concepts or ideas to KarooBraai^© for
consideration, you are deemed to have automatically accepted the Terms and Conditions for Submissions governing
this invitation as herein recorded.
