You put the fire piggy in the coals and can also put embers or briquettes on the side slots.
This guarantees even heating.

But the fire piggy can be used in many creative ways,
for example to cook chicken legs or for a vegetable dish.
You can also adjust it so it is directly over the fire or only partially over the fire so some foods get more heat than others.
Some use it on a weber, next to a fire, on top of a fire, or simply with its own coals.
